I have a buddy that has car in title... however it doesn't have the PDR built in. He does have the camera in the front but it is for the collision warning system ETC... is there a software add in to get the PDR added by GM?
I have the PDR and it is amazing and he wants it.

Nope, no direct method like that. PDR is a standalone system. Here's a thread that breaks down someone else that installed it on their car https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...527969&page=16

I opted my 1le with out it. Yes its cool, but at 1300 you can get a gopro and some software that attaches to your obd port.

Thats just me though.

I really wanted the PDR when I was trying to find my car but every car my dealer found that had PDR also had a sunroof, which was a no go because of the helmet clearance. Since then, I have purchased the following to approximate the PDR:

GoPro Hero7 Black;
PLX Devices Kiwi 3 Bluetooth OBD2 OBDII Diagnostic Scan Tool for Android, Apple, Windows Mobile;
Giant Squid Omnidirectional Mono Microphone; and
Track Addict app for iPhone.
