Very annoying when visor is flipped down to block low sun. The uncovered mirror reflects the steering wheel, driver hands, etc depending on position. I plan to cover it with a piece of Alcantara cloth. I have also been looking for covers for the bright yellow airbag warning on the visor. Another annoying aspect of the visor is that it cannot be rotated to the side. I was spoiled by the C7 Vette I traded for the Camaro.

Wait a minute, if you are using the visor to block the sun, which would be in front of you, there's no way that the bright light can reflect back at you.

That would only happen if the sun was behind you.

My only beef with the mirrors is that they should flip upwards, not downwards. And they should swivel to the left and slide to the the right.

Here's what I wound up doing. I purchased some black nylon stretch socks at the Dollar Store. I cut one up the middle and adhered hook n loop velcro to each side. I would've preferred to have the sock in one piece to slide over the
visor and mirror. Unfortunately ,the convertible visor/mirror doesn't swivel to the side. If were inclined to turn this into a project, I could've removed the entire visor assembly but this was a much easier option.
A few have posted things such as the sun can't be a factor. Sure.
The GM designer/engineer who thought that a visor mirror without a flip-lid is good enough deserves a swift kick in the ass.
