Turbo cool down
For you turbo guys, do you let your car run for a few (30) seconds before shutting off the car?
There was an article online about it and I was curious if it is necessary. Thanks

Most of these modern turbos use thermosyphoning, which obviates the need for a turbo timer or cool down period.

I think this is only really recommended if you drive the car hard.

When I had turbo cars in the past, I would make sure I spent at least 10 minutes on very easy driving to let the car cool down a bit if I was out having fun. I think on some of the more modern turbo cars, they have turbo timers that will kick on a fan if you turn off the car and the temps are high enough.
