installing LPE voltage booster on 2650, also selling old 1740

SO adding the 2650 and eventually the dsx lid and the big gulp and 103 with additional tune I have ; I am adding a LPE voltage booster which appears to be a superior product to some others voltage booster, and of course costs more...

My question is anyone have installed one? I am wondering where to attach the hose from the actuator as the example in the instructions is a 2300 or some other magnuson and has a vacuum fitting on the passenger left bank toward the back..the 2650 does not have... I am installing speed valve covers changing that also....just BTW

But wonder ...they show a couple "T's" in the pic of the kit but no mention in the online instructions..... And that may be what is needed from the vacuum line coming off? What..... its called a reference hose and the reference fitting.... which makes me think you could hook a gauge up there.... its step 54 on the instructions which seem pretty straight forward until it comes to this..

SO anyone have this bit of info it would be great, and on a side note I will sell the old TVS stock eaton off my lt4, mine is a bolt on build and a daily, so what i take off is for sale when its done in a couple months hopefully as I await in a que for help... It will include the lt4 lower pulley and belt and well valve covers etc etc.. so I will post that some day. And could use someone whos done the LPE on a 2650 to chime in, THANK YOU for your time... Mark

Isn't the LPE booster just a rebranded JMS? If so, ditch the boost reference and use the pedal. Lots of threads about installing it that way on the forum.

Also if you’re installing the Speed Engineering valve covers…don’t. The PCV baffling is inferior to OEM and you’ll fill your catch can with oil very quickly. If you’re insistent on aftermarket valve covers, TooHighPSI ones are the way to go since the oil control baffling is to OEM spec (if not better).

LPE is the JMS with an LPE sticker on it.

Going 2650 and no headers?

wow no help here... Sorry I wrote anything.... no DIP switches to activate except theirs. I am not doing headers just shorty JBA incase in the future i want to go into the engine. I am going bolt on, and sorry if the speed engineering ones made with magnuson developing the 2650 are not so great..... I will find out with my e2x ultra. Having read thoroughly the instructions and such on both pumps they are not the same. And reading the posts online from camaro 6...... https://www.lingenfelter.com/PDFdown...all%20v1.4.pdf good luck to you all...........

He brought it unto himself by saying this was a "superior product to some others voltage booster" in his very first sentence.

Why not take the unlimited knowledge that experienced people have on here and put it to good use?

I would recommend the GM pedal activated voltage version of the JMS. Boost is like a flat curve on the PD blower cars and it allows it to ramp up only as much as needed instead of just going flat out when boost hits.

My JMS Voltage Booster worked great for my install and I used the pedal module, it was easy to install and worked spot on ! My install starts at post #215

DSX and THPSI make great baffled valve covers for our LT4. I went with THPSI low profile valve covers when I had THSPI port injection installed. They are fully baffled, and my catch can has never been happier !!!!
