The original '15 hellcat tires were made skinny on purpose so the car make 200mph.
Heavier rotating mass will require more energy to accelerate (why drag setups have skinnies up front), but that's gotta be only one tenth, not four. Seems like MT couldn't get the car to hook. They shoulda called Lund. |

It adds about 60 pounds I believe, and more drag at higher speeds. Not worth it IMO, the car wasn't meant to handle, leave it at that. Still, it should of done better than a 11.9. That number doesn't make sense to me, especially given the trap speed, and especially given the fact that they got a faster time in the narrow body.
