pushrod V8? gotta love it. Heres the thing, seems to be there's an unwritten rule of posting cam cards, I never see any, out of respect for our vendors? I never ever see them post full specs either. I don't know man. My intentions are good...but

Most of the vendors now publish their basic cam specs. Talk to cam motion they have a very big selection of gen v cams. Everybody else has 3 or 5 cams tsp, Lingenfelter, btr, katech, mti, livernois hell comp only has dod cams. Cam motion has truck cams turbo cams suoercharcher cams both dp and centri so I would highly recommend talking with them and have them help yiu select a cam

Lingenfelter GT30 cam with CNC ported heads and long tube headers makes right around 570hp.

Aren’t those smooth idle cams really soft down low and rev happy tho?

Drives like stock or idle likes stock? They are not one and the same. A 110 lobe center cam will dive like stock, in fact better than stock, with a strong and responsive mid range. But it lope at idle. A 121 LSA, NA / blower general performance cam with smooth idle say 220 / 230 duration is gonna be pretty smooth, but will not have strong mid rance and part throttle tip in.

DOD/AFM Compatible
DOD Lobes: intake/exhaust
Duration @ .050 valve lift 219 / 231 Lift with 1.8 rocker .576 .576 LSA 116

Non DOD Lobes: intake/exhaust
Duration @ .050 valve lift 217 / 229
Lift with 1.8 rocker .576 .576 LSA 116
Lingenfelter GT30 Camshaft GM Gen V Engine LT1/L83/L86
Suggested for normally aspirated engine applications with stock cubic inch, or larger cubic inch applications desiring a non-aggressive idle.

I'm not really sure of DOD compatible valve springs. That was one of the reasons I went with a DOD delete cam. Many vendors talk bad about the other guy's DOD compatible cam, and theirs works. IMO, all DOD compatible cams are suspect...

Cam Specs: 223/227, .635"/.635", 116 LSA
TSP SV cam, or stage 0, it does retain a cam phaser for more "stock like" performance, VVT limited to 20 degrees. IMO I don't like the phaser, but it does offer better drivability.

I just had a texas speed stage 2 cam installed. For the most part it drives pretty close to stock, however there is some slight cam surge at the very low rpm's. That is to be expected unless you go with a cam so small its not really worth it.

I think because Texas Speed designs their cam with phaser of 20 to 22 degrees, there is more "stock like" performance...

And to clarify that’s a idle at 650rpm
