I haven't installed mine yet in my 2020 but I'm 100% sure that feature won't change with the shifter.
Spring bias would stay with the 3-4 position. Maybe or maybe not related: I have installed 2 of these in 4th gen cars and it didn't change. |

The install isn’t that bad. I did it on ramps in my driveway with no problem. Definitely worth it in my opinion.
