Happy Birthday to your Camaro! A pretty busy day today. Just finished my work. Bed time now. Sweet dreams.

Happy Camaro Birthday!

Actually had a CREW come out to work on the pool, and the construction manager was one of them. He discovered some of the plumbing is wrong for the spa and needs to be corrected. That's what he gets for avoiding supervision of this build.

Half a day working tomorrow, taking Claire to two doctor's appointments.

Good morning crew. A warm day here today with pop-up thunderstorms possible. Last day driving to Nashville this week. I had gotten ahead of myself on this weekend's events. It is not the weekend for the reunion so we are thinking about going to a big cruise-in nearby on Saturday evening. Looking forward to a long weekend. Have a good day everyone.

This morning had the Solo Performance exhaust kit (SO-MACH-X-LLT) installed on my 2LT coupe. I am very happy, just the sound I wanted. Thanks to Zandron263 and his 'Garage' for turning me onto this kit from Solo and answering a few questions for me. The Solo people were great to work with and the bolt on system only took 1-1/2 hours to install at a local performance and restoration garage.

If there is a negative it is my gas mileage might drop because I was a little heavy footed on take off from stoplights just because the sound was so sweet (LOL).

Also had my new Weatherteck front floor liners installed this morning and the fit is perfect. Highly recommend their product.

Sounds like a good day to me.

I'm once again thinking about buying a painted heritage grill for my 'vert. What do Y'all think about those?

I have lots of time to think of car stuff while waiting in these doctor's offices.

I love my Heritage Grille. For silver cars, the painted to match was a bit too much silver. I tried to find pictures of black painted Heritage on silver vert or coupe, but had no luck. I eventually just bought a black painted one and tried it out ... looooved it.

I do recommend changing the lower grille out at the same time to match the lines of the louvers of the Heritage. Street Scenes makes a nice looking lower grille (which is what I have ... shown below, though I still need to redo the coating on the hood!)

Black Painted Heritage Grille, with billet Street Scenes lower insert, and gloss painted DRL bezels:

Also, if ya bring it out to Tennessee, I will install it for ya! LOL

Glad I could help out Abaucom21 I still get on mine sometimes just to hear the sound. I would definitely get the painted heritage grill Rick. I want to get one for mine and I saw a black one on an IOM Camaro and the painted looks better to me on that color. I also want to get the street scene lower grill as well. Now I just need to come up with the money.

Thanks everyone! Gonna see how I can afford to do this. There is a $2 difference between GMPartsHouse (or whatever the place is called) and Amazon, probably sold by the same vendor.

Had a funny "pool hole in my back yard" moment. The city inspector came to certify the install. She had to "red tag" it because the plumbing has not been pressure tested, the auto-level system has not been installed, and the spa plumbing is incomplete. When she told us she could not certify the install, I said the builder was not expecting her here until next week. Then the construction manager drove up here to read what the tag said.

He claims there will be a crew here on Saturday to finish what need to be completed so the inspector can return on Tuesday. We'll see about that.

Good morning crew. I'm still sleepy. Maybe I can get caught up on sleep this long weekend. If anyone is traveling, be safe. TGIF and HAGD!

Yeah, I hate that we can't make any big trips this year, but we have just neglected the house since we got the Camaros & need to do things at home this year so no $ for travel. We will just have to live vicariously through you guys. Post up some pics!
