We need a reusable ceramic coating that makes the car look like an absolute rust bucket for trips to the store.

You have to press a button on the Mobilistics fob, then press the start button on the car within a few seconds.

you may have misunderstood - the IGLA fob is in your pocket, car keys in cupholder. If you're carjacked turn off the car and get out and run away with the keys in car they cant start it.

or, dont use the IGLA fob at all, ever. then during a carjacking, if you're manual, just stall in traffic or shut it off and it cant start.

fyi you can program the fob for igla to be within 1 foot for detection so if you shut it off and youre outside it wont detect it. best practice is dont use the fob

My installer programmed the fob to the minimum distance. Like you said, it has to pretty much be in the car to work. I had the car at the dealer for some work and used the fob in the car and never mentioned the IGLA.

Ah, indeed I thought you suggested leaving the remote in the car, not the GM fob. It makes more sense now, thanks

Buy the club for when your out and about and park in a very visible spot. When at home lock it in the garage.
