Emergency brake error
I have a 2017 Camaro SS with an Aero 15’’ brake conversion. With that conversion it eliminates the emergency brake. While cleaning the car I somehow activated the emergency brake and now have an error light along with a constant ding. I can’t be the only one who has done this. How do I reset this? Thanks in advance.

I have no idea what's involved with that conversion, but my best first guess would be to disconnect the battery for a bit and try rebooting her. Good luck.

Did you leave the emergency brake connectors at the axle disconnected? If so by pulling the switch the computer is looking for them and it’s not getting a return signal or current load on the circuit. You should be able to clear it by removing the battery ground for about 15 minutes. Just keep in mind this will happen any time you accidentally pull the switch.

I did try to clear the code with a scanner with no success. I’ll disconnect the battery and see. Thanks again
