Saying Farwell to the Camaro Community

It's with mixed emotions that I say farewell to the Camaro5/6 community.

Today I traded in my 2017 Camaro ZL1 for a 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.

The CT5-V Blackwing with 6 spd manual transmission is the only car I would trade my ZL! in on. I found one this weekend at a local high-end performance dealer about 10 minutes from my house. It has 9500 miles and 33 months of bumper-to-bumper warranty left.

I have been a member of the Camaro 5/6 Forums since July of 2011. The '17 ZL1 was my fourth Camaro. Before the '17, I owned two Camaro 2SS convertibles (2011 and 2012) and one 2013 ZL1 Convertible. I've had a vested interest in the Camaro Community over these past 13 years.

I wish everyone on these forums all the best. The Camaro, especially the ZL1 will always have a fond spot in my heart. I truly enjoyed every minute of owning a Camaro.

Now it's on to the Cadillac V forums.

Cadillacs and 4 doors(unless SUV'S or Trucks) aren't my cup of tea personally, but HEY!!?? It doesn't matter what I think! . If it's what YOU like and want, then THAT'S what matters!. Good luck, enjoy it and thanks for being a Camaro enthusiast for as long as you have been!
Take care!!

Sweet looking Blackwing! Congrats! And a manual at that. Those have to be pretty rare.

Congratulations. Drive it in good health. How many miles on the Camaro? Was it all original? Any oil pump issues? Was your trade-in value high?
