ZLE needs help

Hello my fellow Camaro enthusiast,

I’m in need of some help. I’m looking to purchase some Apex VS 5RS wheels for my ZLE. But apparently, Apex says that they do not have the rear wheels in stock for the finish i’m looking for.

I’m either going ThunderHiill 6/14or else LagunaSeca 6/28 and don’t think Apex will have them in by then. I really don’t wanna take my mustang again. Especially it’s going to be dry.

19x11 ET9
19x12 ET41 - backordered 90+ days

Both in brushed clear

Does anyone know any vendors that might have the rear wheels in stock? Or even the whole set if I have to?

Thanks in advance,
Fred

I don’t think it helps but I just delivered a set to a corvette owner yesterday who said he waited 6 months on his set. I think it’s getting to that point where apex only does group buys and stalls everyone else. Big money or slow money. Typical
Shipping delays are the new norm for people who know they have a good product. They don’t expand to accommodate. They just change the business model to suit them best.individual shipping probably kills them especially considering you know California and and all.

See if they will take a set off the shelf strip and refinish.

Right, because that's what they would do.

Just buy whatever color they have in stock and take the rear wheels to a local wheel repair shop. Ask Apex for the paint code and give the code to the wheel repair shop for a repaint.

Camaro wins hands down, so much sleeker.

Wait, that wasn't the point of the thread?

??

The first post says the wheels are available, just not in clear anodize.

The wheels they have in stock could be stripped, brushed and anodized clear.

I got tired of APEX constantly moving the goal post with production, bought BC Forged and got them in just over a month. Just my 2 cents!
