So these pinch welds look normal?

So I recently got into another Camaro, a 2021 Camaro LT1 that I purchased from a dealer. I recently noticed that the front passenger fender has a crease in it. Also the there is a paint chip near the inner edge where it is also creased. So first thought was somebody lifted in the wrong spot. Got to looking under the car and there is a piece that the fender and rocker panel mounts to that is creased. Also the pinch weld on the passenger side looks weird, can someone tell me if this looks like major damage. The pinch weld has two half’s that are welded together, one half of the pinch weld is lower than other half. The driver side looks normal and both half’s are flush where they meet. Is it possible that one side of the pinch weld got pushed up by jacking beside it? I could look into pdr or just replacing the whole fender, but the pinch weld being compromised has me worried. Any input or experience would be appreciated, I see this has happened to a few people on here.Name: IMG_4199.jpg

That pinch weld is "normal" unfortunately, they don't come flawless even from the factory and yours didn't "shift" either. The pinch welds on mine are better, but the two sides aren't perfectly aligned there either.

However, the rest of the damage, including the creased panel and the grossly misaligned door, are telltale symptoms of a lifting accident

Thanks that’s what I figured. I was able to use a towel and some pressure to get the door and fender gap pretty close back to Normal. I guess the crease I will see if a pdr guy can get it out. Do you know what that piece is under the car above the side skirts that is bent. Looks like the fender and rockers mount to it. Or is that part of the rockers? It is the 4th picture.

I agree with arpad_m, the pinch welds may or may not indicate an issue but the other things definitely look like a bad lift by someone...

I bet they tried to lift it right on the rocker panel beside the pinch weld, cause the side skirts are cracked at the front underneath. That’s just unfortunate , my ocd is going to drive me crazy even if I can get the crease out thinking something is comprised structurally.

Sorry, I don't know that part... maybe one here: https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/v-2021...oor-and-rocker? Even if yes, though, these probably can't easily be replaced. I'd consult a good body shop about this.

I hear you, I am COMPLETELY OCD about my car, would not be happy finding that...

My PDR guy was able to get all the crease out, he did it for free too. Cause he see me a lot lol I can’t seem to find that piece that is bent up underneath the car. It looks like where the rocker and fender mount. I straightened it out, not sure if I should try to replace it or if it will affect anything.
