Applaud Ford for the Dark Horse. Really interesting car and awesome for street use.
But for the few people that actually track their cars with any consistency..the TR3160 and the fact its 200 lbs heavier than the ZL1 1LE makes it DOA for track use IMO. Ever since a friend with a GT350 broke everything on the track (even the alternator) I have been second guessing Ford's sincerity. The TR3160 was limited to V6 engines by GM and at 4k lbs the Dark Horse won't be competitive with 500hp these days.
By a used 1LE and spend 30K on it.
